Neither Liberty nor Faith

Do we have the wisdom to decide.. or do the roads call us?

The moments of truth are not always there; they are candid moments only when we acknowledge the depth of our troubles.

Amid the journey of self-finding, we encounter challenges. Experiencing these challenges means we are still in need of being elevated from one level to another. We may feel like we are rolling deeper into our doubts and fears. The high expectations of being revitalized once we start with our rumination could destroy us. The best way to survive is to prepare for the worst while searching for our inner selves.

When we begin eliminating needless distractions, we react as if we are enlightened; we feel lighter and relieved. Subsequently, we crash against our dilemmas, doubts, and ambiguities; and a dreadful, frightening reality emerges; our souls are antagonistic toward our spirits.

We feel mystified! We thought we knew the whole lot, but at this moment of truth, we feel dreadful and wasted. We shamefully carry these souls with egos and move far from our gifted spirits.

Now, what.

There are two roads ahead, both welcoming and well-adorned; they are equally auspicious and bright. At the end of each, there are two conflicting consequences; one leads to a state of unification of our souls with their estranged spirits, while the other leads to where we start over with the same prolonged and baffling journey. It is the spot where our egos originated with only purity but, indeed, no virtues.

Do we have the wisdom to decide? Do we choose our journey, or does the road itself call us? Are we free to choose? The ultimate moment of truth dwells at the end of each street; it only takes a leap of faith to reach where we go, so let us take off.
