My Moments

This is my place, and this is my moment

I own the spot where I am standing now. I do not own the one beneath me nor above nor beyond.

This is my place, and this is my moment.

The journey is full of glorious moments, but we only carry the sick and dull feelings that come out of them. We are prone to be miserable! We define the outcomes of our difficult experiences as “failure,” “disappointment,” “unlucky,” and “unfair.”

How often do we cry each time we confront these memories?

Who would teach that little girl how to live up to her experiences? Who would tell her that she is resilient and competent enough to look in the mirror and see the beauty of her life? She missed her instants and the power of their knowledge many times during her youth. She has carried on with defeat and did not live her glory.

My little one, you are here with me now, and it should be all right. Look at my eyes and see how proud I am of you! You are so beautiful and wise. Look at your hands! They are holding mine, so do not be scared. Look around you and see all these warm and caring people; they will always love you. Look at your feet, where you are now in your moment, as solid as they can be.

You must own it.
